About Orange Market Tableware

Founded in 2020,
Orange Market Tableware is dedicated to curating artist-made ceramics and handcrafted objects from Japan and across Asia.

We believe that objects are more than tools for use —
they are part of a way of living.
They carry time, texture, warmth, and the quiet emotions shared between people.

Curation is at the heart of what we do.
Each piece is introduced through direct communication and collaboration with renowned kilns and independent studios, carefully selected and confirmed before entering our space.

We work directly with artists and brands rather than through multiple distribution layers.
This allows us to honor the value of the makers while presenting their work in a more transparent and thoughtful way.

We respect the rhythm of the creators.
We value the subtle imperfections of handmade work.
And we embrace the natural character of materials.

Our collection includes:
– Contemporary artist ceramics
– Hand-blown glass
– Wooden tableware and lifestyle objects
– Traditional craft heritage brands
– Folk-inspired and historically rooted pieces

More than retail,
we hope to offer a quiet and genuine approach to everyday living.

In a world that moves quickly,
we choose to move with intention —
selecting objects that are meant to be lived with for years to come.

Orange Market Tableware is a space for daily rituals,
for craftsmanship,
and for time well kept.

What Defines Orange Market Tableware

1. Thoughtful and Fair Pricing
Through direct collaboration with artists, renowned kilns, and independent studios, we are able to present carefully made works at fair and transparent prices — honoring both the maker and the customer.

2. Curated, Not Mass Produced
Every piece is intentionally selected.
We do not carry randomly sourced, large-scale mass products.
Our collection focuses on works that reflect craftsmanship, individuality, and lasting value.

3. Ongoing Dialogue with Makers in Japan
We regularly travel to Japan to meet artists across different fields, visiting studios and kilns in person.
These conversations allow us to understand the philosophy, process, and spirit behind each work — and to bring those stories into our space.

4. Collaboration with Established Kilns
Alongside contemporary independent artists, we work closely with respected and historically rooted kilns.
This balance between tradition and modern expression shapes the identity of our collection.

We hope you find your own sense of quiet joy here.
