This plates is made of iron sulfide ceramic stone by Artisan Hirokazu Furuya . It has the characteristic that iron is emitted from the surface of the iron sheet during baking. There are dark brown spots. This is a normal phenomenon of handmade works. Each plate is handmade and will vary slightly in texture and size. Pottery works may have black spots, pinholes, uneven glaze, etc. This is the characteristic of handmade works.
