Tomiyo Otsuka｜BLUE CANDLE Japanese candle artist Tomiyo Otsuka has been creating under the name BLUE CANDLE since 2013. Based in Hiroshima, she creates sculptural candles inspired by nature, animals, flowers, and imagined forest worlds. Each piece is carefully shaped and decorated by hand, revealing delicate details reminiscent of embroidery and relief sculpture. Created with the wish to make candles that gently stay close to the heart, her works can be lit and enjoyed as candles, or displayed as small works of art.
