About the Artist
Yusuke Yonezu is a Japanese illustrator and picture-book artist born in Tokyo in 1982. After studying design at Tokai University, his work was selected for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition in Italy in 2005. Since then, his picture books have been published internationally and enjoyed by readers around the world.
Known for his warm, crayon-style illustrations, Yonezu brings animals and familiar everyday objects to life with a simple, playful touch. His diary and stationery collections feature charming seasonal themes and thoughtfully illustrated details.
New designs are released each year, making every collection feel fresh and special. Many of the diaries include different full-color illustrations throughout the pages, creating the feeling of carrying a small picture book while recording everyday moments.
